New Orleans At Home opened in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in July, 2007 after beginning in 1995 as New Orleans Custom Linens on Magazine Street in uptown New Orleans.  After Hurricane Katrina we moved to Baton Rouge and reopened on Government Street in the heart of Mid City Baton Rouge. We will be closing the store at the end of 2009 and will continue with a web presence only.

While we started with a focus on high quality linens for the home, through the years we expanded our scope to include items for every room of the house. Our interest in and love for New Orleans made it clear to us that we were really all about things that brought New Orleans into the home. That prompted our name change to New Orleans At Home - although we were no longer in the Crescent City, we could have New Orleans At Home by surrounding ourselves with the things that reminded us of home in New Orleans.

It is our hope that you will enjoy as much as we do using the special things that we have selected as those that best reflect New Orleans At Home. It may be a special glass, a treasured linen napkin, or the memories evoked by the presence of a vintage silver pattern that brings it home for you. Enjoy with us those memories and begin to create new ones!
